In the past few years I made a series of musicals. I think I have that out of my system now. For floromancy I've created a couple of shorter works exploring different relationships of video to music. I approached these as formal exercises, and along the way found them showing me new directions for my practice. After an inspiring studio visit with Coorain Devin, I was curious to see our work together, and invited him to split the month. Coorain's work seduces on its surface, and reveals nuanced arguments on consumerism as it relates to health and identity.
